Merry Christmas!!

So this Chirstmas I thought was going to be boring but turns out that it was fun opening presents. I got to watch my niece Delilah open her presents while I opened mine. That was the best part. Here is the run down on what I got. Some cute jewelery in my stocking, snowboarding pants because i'm going to learn how, some cute clothes, and to my surprise, a laptop!!! I was so surprised I got a laptop. I've been wanted one of my own for a long time. Thanks Santa for an awesome Christmas!

I saw a little more than I wanted to...

There is a story behind this. So Saturday I actually got off work by 8. It was a miracle. I went to hang with Jared, Whitney, Nesha, and a few other I haven't seen in while. We back to Jared's house and I call Brad to see where the heck he is. He tells me that we need to stay at Jared's house for a surprise. When it comes to surprises with Brad and Brian, you don't what they'll come up with. So we hang out in Jared's house until I get a text from Brad that says to come outside. We go outside, it's cold by the way, and we wait, still waiting, until we see a car pull up and 4 motorcycle's behind it. Brian, Alex, Carson and someone else (i didn't know who) rode up on their motorcycles in speedos. Only 3 of them had speedos and one had a thong. I told my mom about this and she laughed pretty hard and simply said, "you gotta see some male butt action once in a while." Thanks mom, I didn't think you'd actually approve of me seeing some butt action before I got married. But I must say, it was a pretty funny surprise.

How did they know?

Don't you love it when you here something that you need to hear? You seem to say to yourself, "How did they know?" I went to a farewell this morning and I heard a song and phraze in the song was something I really needed to hear. Knowing me, I started to cry, big suprise there. It was just one of those awesome Sunday's. :)

Fall

I'm so excited that it's finally fall weather. I was at work today and when the baggers came in, they were covered in water from the rain. I was so jealous! I love the rain. I'm so excited for Halloween and Thanks Giving. Also, 23 DAYS till my birthday!!!! :)   

Already?!

I can't believe that it's October already, but I'm so excited for the cool weather. But most of all I'm excited for my birthday which is in 28 days! :) I can't believe I'll be turning 19. It seems like yesterday I was turning 16 and getting lisence. I can't believe everything that has happened since then. It's just crazy.

Halloween Cupcakes

I'm not much of a baker but for some reason yesterday I made 4 dozen cupcakes. Why? I have no clue, but I'm pretty proud of them and they turned out really cute. :)

First you need to bake your cupcakes. Use chocolate cake mix.

Then you get vanilla frosting and color it bright orange (red and yellow food coloring).

Then you frost all our cupcakes and make them pretty!

Then you get black decorating frosting with a thin piping tip. Put 3 cirlces on the cupcake.

(this is not a great picture but i'm sure you see what i mean). Then you get a toothpick and drag the end of the toothpick from the small cirlce out to the middle of the cirlce so you can get a the spider web look, and they turn out like this!

They're super cute and fun to make. I'm pretty proud of my cupcakes. :)

Logan

So I went up to Logan this weekend. I had so much fun!! I got to hang out with some friends and I also got to make some new friends. I really like it up in Logan. I would totally move there if wasn't going to school down here.

Friday night I got to go see The Scarlet Pimper, which is my favorite musical. It was AMAZING!!! The costumes were so elaborate and beautiful. The singing was spectacular. I loved everything about it.

Saturday I got to experience a college game being in the student section. It was a great game until half way through the 3rd quarter. But none the less, it was all worth it. I was cheering so loud and so much that I when I started to sing in my car on the way home, I noticed I had pretty much lost my voice, but once again, it was worth it. I'm definately going up again. :)

Don't know what to call this one.

so this weekend i'm going up to Logan to hang with some buddy's. I get to see the Scarlet Pimpernel. I'm stinking excited!! Saturday I'm going to a Utah State football game. I think I need a break from work this weekend. It's gonna be so much. I'll be sure to take pictures for you all to see. Oh, and I'm cooking 6 guys dinner. We'll see how that goes. haha.

A little something to share...

I wanted to share one of my favorite photos that I've taken with you. This was taken up at my friend's grave. When I found out she died it was one of the hardest things I have ever had to deal with and still is at times. In life we're going to come to some bridges that we don't want to cross, but we just need to have the strength. This helps to have the strength to deal with the challenges that life brings. I love you so much Brooke.

It's Christmas in Summer!!!!

So I said that I would put some pictures of my cosmetology stuff on my blog. It was a lot of money but I think it was totally worth it. :)

We call these our Ninja swords.

Opening this box was like opening an expensive necklace. They came in a velvet box.

Cathrine, Dylan, and Debra.

 Yes my manikins do have names. We haven't actually started practicles yet so Dylan's beard is a little long. haha. Cathrine has red hair. I was showing my mom all my stuff one night and I held Cathrine up so the back of her head was facing my mom. My mom got freaked out cause the back of her looked just like my mom. It was pretty comical for me though.

I never thought I'd be so excited to get new curling irons. I used one on my mom the other day and I was in heaven! I got a nice blow dryer too but I didn't think a picture of a blow dryer would be very interesting.

These are all my clips and yes I have a straight edge razor. I'm a little scared to use it but I won't do anything on anybody until I actually know how to use it.

I didn't think that I'd need so many brushes and combs. I love it though! And the best part is that they're pink! I'm such a girl.

I'm excited to learn how use my clippers. I got some pretty nice ones too. :)

So there's all my stuff for school. It was pretty exciting to open it all up on the second day of class. I absolutely love school (I never thought I'd say that). I've made so many friends and I love my instructors. :)

WOW

So today I worked an 8 hour shift. I didn't think I'd be able to make it. I'm not gonna lie... it was a long day at work. But once I had my break and had a little dinner and Advil, I was a new woman. Hopefull I don't have to work many 8 hour shifts. At least I work with fun people I like.

College Life

I know this is my second post today but oh well. It's so weird being in college. I'm going to school with girls that are married and have kids. Even girls that went to school with my brothers. haha. I love it though. I've been making some great friends and I love everyone in my class. I'm learning a lot. I love it! :)

I'm officially a blogger!

I never thought I would actually be a blogger, but since I'm in college now I figured why not? There will be more stuff coming in a little bit. I'll take some picutres of all my cosmetology stuff soon.
